Guidelines for Authors

• Presenters must register electronically before December 31, 2025
• Abstracts submission deadline is October 15, 2025
  • FONT: Times New Roman, 12 point
  • TITLE: bold-type; scientific names italicized
  • AUTHORS: full names (First Middle Last); presenting author in bold-type; superscripted numbers for affiliations
  • AFFILIATIONS: Italicized; superscripted number corresponding to each author
  • ABSTRACT BODY: no indentation; single-spaced text; no references/citations; 400 word maximum
  • CONTACT: list corresponding author, phone number and email

  • Standard AFS Format
  • Target length 15 minutes (firm) including Q/A and Transition
  • Microsoft Windows and Office will be used for the presentation
• Poster Presentation
  • Poster size: 48” x 36” maximum
  • Easels and pushpins will be provided
